No question too big…
I have worked as a commercial ethnographer in media and technology related industries for over two years, ranging from short term bespoke research projects for broad sociological enquiries into emerging global trends to long term, deep dive explorations of specific cultural and social phenomena.
Born in Nottingham and raised in Canada, I moved back to the UK in 1999. My interests lie heavily in thinking through the way in which people interact with technology and how these interventions can and do alter or transform their lives on an individual and collective level, in both personal and political ways.
I spend a lot of time thinking about the zeitgeist and how it can be chronicled through academia, design, art, and activism.
