Technology and Globalization
I've carried out ethnographic research in India, Canada, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Sweden, Ireland, and the United Kingdom as well as virtual ethnography with participants from other European countries creating a baseline for tracking globalizing shifts and trends and serving as springboards for more specific research projects.

Both independently and within multidisciplinary teams, I’ve worked on projects exploring intersections of people and practices with regard to technology and technological intervention.

Media, Identity, and Consumption
I've conducted research using cultural probes and semi-structured, open-ended questionnaires exploring patterns and levels of news consumption in the UK, focussing on branding, brand loyalty, and consumption triggers.

Quantitative research looking at the representation of race, and ethnicity in the media during the 2005 general election.

Working with designers and anthropologists at Intel, I conducted research on the material cultures of Irish homes, exploring the ways in which technology played a role in their lives, specifically focusing on usability and user experience.

Creative Industries and Design
As a research fellow at the University of Bristol, I conducted fieldwork and research on global consumption and the emerging New Zealand designers fashion industry.

As part of my PhD, I conducted research in India on the fashion and music industry looking at the emergence of middle class, Indians and the production and consumption of global, colonial sub-cultures.
